Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Volo ("Volo", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use the Volo mobile app and the website at voloapp.space.
Who we are
The data controller is Volo Technologies LLC, based in Ukraine (Kyiv, Ukraine). You can reach us at hello@voloapp.space.
Because we are established outside the European Union but offer the app to people in the EU, our EU representative under Article 27 GDPR is Volo EU Representative Ltd, Dublin, Ireland, eu-rep@voloapp.space.

We rely on legitimate interest for analytics (PostHog) and crash reporting (Sentry). You can turn both off at any time in Settings > Data & privacy ("Share usage analytics").
Service providers
These providers process data only on our instructions and do not use it for their own purposes:
- Supabase Database and file storage
- Resend Transactional email
- Vercel Web hosting and request logs
- Expo Push notification delivery
- Inngest Background job processing
- RevenueCat Subscription state
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can:
- Export your data in Settings > Data & privacy.
- Delete your account and data in Settings (see "Deleting your account and data" below).
- Contact us at hello@voloapp.space for any other request, including via our EU representative above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children's privacy
Volo is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact hello@voloapp.space and we will delete it promptly.
Deleting your account and data
You can delete your account from Settings in the app. Deletion removes your ideas, transcripts, recordings, embeddings, and account record. Audio recordings are also purged automatically 30 days after transcription regardless of account deletion.
International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your own, including by the providers listed above. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the providers' standard contractual clauses.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Accessibility
We aim to follow WCAG 2.1 AA guidance as a best-effort target. If you encounter an accessibility issue, email hello@voloapp.space.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
